I guess I made my own miniscule tribute to The Bicycle Thief today.
Our project was to create a story with only 9 still images. My professor didn’t explain things clearly enough in previous class sessions, so, in short, I had to come up with an idea right on the spot while we went out and shot. dandancantfly asked: yeah that love hotel scene was a bit ridiculous. Maybe it's because I had seen Irreversible and experienced something like it but it's not as good or as effective as Irreversible. In a weird way I wanted to be pushed to the very edge instead it actually had me a bit bored at times. I do agree though the 'flashback' sequence it was well handled and was moving.

dandancantfly asked: Just finished watching Enter the Void. I don't ultimately know what I feel about it yet but I do know I didn't enjoy it as much as I wanted, I thought it was far too long and more than a little all over the place. It was visually amazing and technically sublime but on a whole i feel a little underwhelmed.
